Submissions for EASEL 02 are now open. Winter isn’t far, and we’re hoping to start spending more time with less people. We encourage prospective contributors to turn their attention to seriality and cohesion. Bluntly, we don’t just want pictures, we want bodies of work. Taking good photographs is hard, and assembling a collection of good photographs is even harder. Worth a try, though :)
Let the photos in EASEL 01 serve as a guide, though certainly not a prescription, for the kinds of content we’re looking for. If you are trans and you are taking pictures and you really mean it we probably want to see what you’re working on.
Writers, we are more than happy to take pitches or just talk through what “writing about photography” can look like before you commit to sending something over. Shoot us an email <3
